Dpict is an independent commercial and lifestyle photographic service led by photographer Peter Atterbury, whose work is rooted in a strong foundation of design, marketing, and visual communication. 

Peter was a founder member of the Graphic Ballroom, a Graphic Design studio where he spent 16 years as part of the creative team and head of the in-house photographic studio. During this time, he refined his ability to translate brand values and marketing objectives into compelling visual content, developing a disciplined yet creative approach to professional photography.

Peter has produced work for a wide range of clients across the hospitality, commercial, and industrial sectors. His background in design and marketing allows him to collaborate closely with clients, contributing strategically beyond the photographic brief to ensure that imagery delivers strong visual impact and supports broader communication goals. In collaboration with videographers and multimedia teams, his practice has expanded to include on-location, environmental and behind-the-scenes photography, live streaming, and the documentation of promotional events.

 Alongside his commercial work, Peter has increasingly pursued his long-standing passion for nature and landscape photography. Inspired by the Western Cape, the Karoo, and the dramatic Cederberg with its intricate rock formations and unique flora, he focuses on capturing the contrasts and subtleties of these ever-changing environments. 

 This body of work has developed into a curated portfolio available as fine art prints and applied décor pieces, including wallpapers and framed artworks. Recently qualified with his tour badge, Peter now also offers guided photographic excursions into remote and pristine natural landscapes, finding the road less travelled the more exciting destination.
